Time Management for Creative Moms

a guide to making time for projects outside motherhood

Do you regularly feel rushed, stressed, and pulled in a thousand directions?

Do you constantly feel like your schedule is packed with your kids’ activities and commitments you can’t even remember agreeing to?

Do you wish you had even a little bit of time to devote to the things that make you feel like your best self?

We created this 80+ page time management guide to help you not only learn to feel more under control with everything you’re already doing, but find time to start or work on those creative projects that light you up.

Just imagine for a second:

What would it feel like to have plenty of intentional time with your loved ones, regular time set aside each week for your creative projects, and guilt-free relaxation time?

It really is possible for you to create the kind of life you don’t need a break from.

It’s possible to have a daily rhythm that supports and sustains a meaningful life.

  • How to find your “magic hours” -- the hours each week that are yours alone to use however you want (we promise they exist!)

  • How to make the most of your time with your kids and without your kids

  • To use your mental energy well by doing particular tasks at certain times (and not at others)

  • How to deal with distractions, stop wasting time on your phone, and stop procrastinating

  • How Kristin fits full-time work in part-time hours — while being a non-stressed-out, present mother

Full-time work in part-time hours

“These are the exact strategies I’ve used over the last four years of motherhood to get full-time work done in part-time hours.

I’ve grown two businesses while doing freelance work on the side… WITHOUT feeling stressed, overworked, or losing sleep.

Apply these strategies and you’ll start getting WAY more done than you imagined possible!

You’ll start making progress towards your goals.

You’ll find time to grow your creativity.

You’ll find more fulfillment and joy in motherhood — and the other creative projects that matter so much to you.”

who are we?

We’re Kristin and Laura, best friends and hosts of The Progress Project podcast. We’re passionate about helping women find their unique purpose and do what matters most to them.

Over and over again, we’ve heard from our listeners that they love the idea of starting a new creative project or working on a goal or habit… they just don’t have the time.

As we’ve worked on our own time management skills over the years, we’ve learned a few life-changing strategies that have helped us get huge creative projects done in the margins of regular life.

We believe that women have a huge amount of creativity and passion to contribute to the world but that we are held back by beliefs about what we do and don’t have time for, waiting for permission to pursue our dreams, and fear about what would happen if we made room in our lives for creativity.

We want all women to have the time management skills and tools to make their mark on the world, their communities, and their families! That’s what this guide is meant to do.
