Happy Thanksgiving! This week we wanted to share a short and sweet episode on how we can choose to be fully present, especially with our loved ones over the holiday season. We chatted about:

  • Our new favorite definition of present-moment living: being available

  • Asking ourselves WHY we want to be fully present and what we’ll gain from making that effort

  • How we can remind ourselves in very simple ways to stay in the moment

A Couple Simple Ideas to be a Little More Present

  1. Attach a gratitude or present-moment trigger to an everyday action like taking a drink of water or washing your hands. Every time you do that action, make it a reminder to be in the moment and enjoy the people around you.

  2. Every time you want to take a picture to capture the moment, take the picture but then put your phone away to be fully present.

  3. Experience and memorize moments using all your senses. Touch, smell, sound, etc. can be so powerful to cement a beautiful moment in your memory.
