Loving Yourself & Your Efforts

Why do we need to practice loving ourselves and the efforts we make toward growth? Because the love we have for ourselves filters into EVERYTHING that we do, whether it’s your creativity, relationships, motherhood, or work.

We’ve found that the more we love ourselves and our efforts the more likely we are able to show up the way we want to.

Whether you’ve been so focused on helping others that you’ve started to neglect your own self care OR you’d like to improve in another area of your life, practicing loving yourself will do nothing, but help.

A few quick reminders as you start to practice loving yourself:

  1. Start where you’re at! This will help you give yourself what you need the most right now. No need to judge where you’re at or compare with others. Just accept where you’re at and work with what you have.

  2. Remember that you can re-generate love (just like you can re-generate excitement)

  3. Somedays you may not feel full of love towards yourself or others and that’s OKAY! Your love towards yourself will feel a different each day.

Lets dive a little deeper into HOW you can actually love yourself & your efforts. What does that look like and feel like?

First it’s important to recognize how it manifests in your life when you ARE loving yourself? Take a minute to recognize what it looks like and feels like when you are loving yourself & your efforts.

Maybe it looks like:

  • Making a spiritual practice or alone time for yourself a priority

  • You have less of an urge to give into distractions
